Rocker panels

Has anyone tried to replace the rocker panel nutplates?

I was removing a stuck screw and broke the ez out off in it.

Just seeing what my options are.

Most of the C3 parts vendors sell a kit to repair the screw holes. Basically you drill out the broken screw and put this special bolt in the hole and put the nut on the back. The special bolt has threaded on the inside so the original size screw can be used to secure the rocker panel.

Used the repair kit on my 73 that 75 above referred to. Worked great!

Also suggest that you use Stainless machine screws (you can get black ones from Albany County Fasteners) and use a dab of anti-seize so you don't have to do it again.
