so, burning rheostats...
im putting the interior back together in my 69, and just saw my rheostat glowing red.
with only the tach/speedo cluster in last night, the rheostat had no problem.
with the main cluster back in, it started glowing.
power ON - fine
key - ON - fine
running - fire
electrical isnt really my thing, so i have no idea what could be causing this.
*fixed it. it was either caused by the "stick" being out, or the coils were grounding out against something.
