Where is the courtesy lamp delay box????

Where is the courtesy lamp delay box????
Can anyone tell me where the control that holds the courtesy lamps on after the lights are turned off is located? Thanx in advance! Gregg :rolleyes:

In the 82, it is located behind th glove box. You have to remove it to be able to get to it. Orange in color. Check your door switches carefully before buying this expensive little monster.

If it's a 77' the timer is taped, yes taped, to the wiring harness at the steering column.

The C4 delay timer can be plugged into the harness too (if you have the orange one, I know for a fact that one is used from 78-82). The little clip that secures it in place is on the wrong side for the C4 one but if you force it in it works. The layout of the edge connector is exactly the same.
78-82 model:
84-89 model: (according to artscorvetteparts, mine is black& different. Don't think the white one is correct, probably one that fits from another vehicle or so)
Mine: (this is a C4 one)
The 78-82 model is 45$ or so from artscorvetteparts, the 84-89 one around 23$. Quick profit there!
