Default What Size Wheels?

The tires on my 72 are Firestone Firehawks P255/60R15 and the wheels are original.

If I buy new wheels what size? 15X8 15X10 ??? :confused:

15x10 with 295/50R15 tires look cool!!! However - they might stick out on the side a little bit..
If you are planning to use 275's or smaller tires - 15x8 is enough...

if your going to buy new wheels, why stick with 15"s? if your concerned about looks, you can get vintage styled wheels in 16" and 17". if you stay with 15" your going to seriously limit your tire selection now and it will only get worse as everything goes larger. there are a few forum members who have bought the wheel vintiques rallye's in 16 and 17 and it takes a good look to spot them and there are infinately better tire choices out there for you.
15"= :nonod: 17" :yesnod:

Why can't someone, sorry if they already do, make 16 and 17 inch standard ralleys? I do not like the look of the all chrome/polished replica ones, I want mine but in 16 size. If they are made where can I get them?

There's no doubt that 17" rims look very cool... However - if you actually drive your Vette more than 10k a year - you will be changing rear tires once a year and those tires ar not cheap.... I had a 95 Vert and needed 2 sets of rear tires per year and I was not doing too many burnouts...
$500++ each time....

:cheers:

Comes in 16 and 17 sliver or bare finish.

olivier, your problem is too much power! just do like me and run a regular 190hp and your tires will last forever, as long as you don't drag race, auto-x or road race! :lol:
