Hey guys, got the news today....my Birthday Present is my choice of new heads and cam!!! I'm thinking Trick Flow's (64 CC) with a Comp Cam 270 Magnum, anybody running similar?? ....Or your advice......appreciated.
I like the aluminum Trick Flows I have on mine. I went with cc 268h cam and its a definite improvement over stock while retaining a relatively mild idle. Its the first cam I tried.

Wifey doin' the $$$.....yep...got a good one. BTW, she likes the way my vette looks, but she really likes that picture of MotorHeads vette. Thinks your car looks "pretty", a compliment I'm sure.
Anyhoo....Trick Flows with 1.26" springs (.500 lift max) or 1.47" springs (.540 lift max).???? 270 Magnum advertises .470 gross lift, and I'm using 1.5 ratio roller rockers. Shouldn't the 1.26" springs do the job????? Would save a little for extras!! :p:
I'd pop fo the 1.47's. Besides giving you "room to grow" if you want a bigger cam or 1.6 rockers later, the larger springs are less likely to have a problem controlling the valves at high rpm even with your present cam/rocker combination. I don't know what spring TrickFlow (Summit) uses but most head mgs also use a higher quality spring when going from their "economy: model.
