Default Caliper
I picked up a 69 project and went through the brakes to find O ring calipers. I took them apart to find no springs in them. Should there be springs?

yes the change to O rings still requires the springs. You also may want to make sure the correct pistons are being used, O ring not the same as lip.

I've been running my o-ring calipers, w/o springs, for about 8 years now and have had absolutely no problems to date. Brakes have never been better.
