68 Power Steering & Alternator Brackets
I currently have a March serpentine setup on my 68. I've had it a few years and I cannot get it to stop squealing so I'm scrapping it and going back to V belts. I am going to use March pulleys as I have used them in the past . . they work and look great. My question is what aftermarket brackets have people used? I would like something nicer than stock black ones. Also if anyone is interested in purchasing my serpentine setup get a hold of me. Ill do a conversion this winter.

Serpentine belts get hard and polished over time and will squeal. I suggest you replace your belt and I'll bet the squealing will go away.

I've replaced it at least 4 times with belts from different manufacturers. I also bought a tensioner from March per their recommendation and it still squealed. I do not like the serpentine setups they offer for this. The adjustment is on the alternator and you are very limited in the range of the belt size to use.
