Default Starter Wiring Question

Hello! I have a question about wiring up my starter. I have pictures below to help clarify. I'd like to run the mini starter I have, however, it only has two places to hook up wires vs. the normal 3 terminals on my stock starter. My car is a 68 coupe 300/327 auto. From what I understand about the wires at the starter, the big red wire will go to the large terminal with the positive battery cable, the black is the ground wire, purple and yellow I need help with. I believe one of them is the ignition power when the key is turned to start and one of the wires is for the power to the points at the distributor... please clarify for me. What do I do with the power to the points wire on the mini starter? Can that be powered from something else? I'll stop yapping now... I just really need help on wiring this up please. Thanks, Jason

The purple wire goes to the "S" terminal (start) next to the block and the yellow wire goes to the "R" terminal (resistance)l on the passenger side. The black ground wire goes to the 2nd from the bottom bell housing-to-block 3/8" bolt.

Thanks for your reply but I'd really like to know how to wire up the mini starter with one less terminal. Thanks for the info, I appreciate it!

No, there's only the one on the left. There's nothing on the right. After some further research, I think I need a diode for the 12v to the points.
