steering column rebuild help
Read all of Jim Shea's tutorials but I'm still jammed up,
Trying to remove the turn signal housing and it's all loose except I can't figure out how disengage it from the shaft lock bolt. There's got to be a way but I'm drawing a blank, here are some pics of where I'm at, any ideas?

Does the lock cylinder have to come out? Everything I read says there should be a slot to release it, I'm starting to think this isn't a 71 column.

Got it, found the answer on a Camaro forum, the slot was there but buried during
The casting process, you had to knock it out with a hammer and screwdriver, after that I popped the lock out and it released the shaft lock bolt which released the housing
