front wheel offset
What is the correct wheel backspace for a vette with a 15x6 wheel? I tried one this morning that would not clear the caliper. Going to run a 15x6 with a 205/70/15 up front. anybody done this?

Man these cars are a pain in the *** to buy for. No wheels fit, at least none that i want. So i guess its stock wheels, what a let down. Called Weld, after i tried to fit a 15x6 drag lite on, it ran into the caliper. So unless i add long wheel studs and get a spacer machined its a no go. Will call centerline and see what they tell me.

Its not just backspacing, but the design of the spokes that matters too. Backspacing will help clear things on the inside lip of the wheel, but spoke/wheel design plays a big part in caliper and brake clearance.
