When you are considering buying a new camshaft its always best to consult the camshaft manufacturer's technical department beforehand to find out whether the camshaft is suitable for your needs. Their tech people are there to help you avoid making a big and costly mistake.
So the buyers guide is to call someone. this is a worthy thread
If you don't have 15" rims, want something other than BFG, something wider than 225's, or something shorter than 70's, call a professional tire dealer for their recommendation for your car and driving style. Then buy the tires they recommend.

Glossed over this the first time. Pretty d**n funny.
If you have 15" rims, get BFG 225-70-15 tires.
Would these be black? Air filled or solids? Round? or has experience shown, shockingly, that other shapes provide better performance.
Come on give the details.
Personally, I run solid blue heptadecagons. They're better. Trust me. I have an engineering degree.
I actually tried some orange triacontakaitetragons (34 sided), but they were a disaster. Tough to find a matching spare.
I know farmers run liquid in their tractor tires for improved traction and roll over protection.
I would recommend running a 50/50 antifreeze solution in your heptadecagons.
I fill my round (well except the bottom, I can clearly see that there is a flat spot there) tires 75% full and you know what? I have never rolled my vette.
I also get fantastic traction. Can't break the tires loose at 60 mph no matter how hard I try.

You have a stock L-48 with a TH350 and 3.36 gears, right? You know what you need?
The Competition Cams 268H. It would be ideal. It offers 218 degrees of duration and a .480" valve lift which is about 10% more than your L-48 came with. That camshaft will work well with your low compression ratio you have and doesn't require any additional (expensive) parts. And it'll give you a mild lumpy idle.
See how easy that was? This buying guide thing rocks.
