I just left the center out. Easier to access the fuel cell. Since it used a T cap that was hard to put back on.

Yep, with it's 4.00" bore and 3-1/4" stroke they were often run up to 8000 rpm in drag and track racing. I remember a Blair's Auto Supply 327" powered '56 Chevy that ran 10.25 second @ 130 mph quarter miles.

i went out and "drove" mine some more today. Okay, it got beat on a little but what great weather to do it! It absolutely put a hurting on some cars on track, including a C7Z (surly not driven to its potential.)
