Does anyone have the overall dimensions for a TH400 and/or for a CORVETTE 700R4/4L60e tranny?

My crude measurements (using a square, a level, and a Sharpie marker!) are 28.5" for the TH400 and 30.0" for my '95 Corvette 4L60e.

I thought that the 4L60e was about 3.5" or so longer (I'm pretty sure though, that I read that the Corvette's 4L60e is a bit shorter than the F-Body's, but not 2" as my measurements are indicating)

I'm putting a '95 LT1/4L60e into a '76 and need to know EXACTLY how much to shorten the driveshaft.

I would wait until you get everything installed, that way you can check the yoke depth and make sure everything is on.

Those dimensions will come in handy for the crossmember location and the idea of waiting and checking yoke endplay is what I'll definitely do before letting someone hack away at my driveshaft!
