Need a photo of wiring to parking brake switch on 68 convert. The switch is there from PO, but not connected to anything. There is a wrapped wire bundle close by that has three smaller wires that are wrapped by PO in electrical tape. End of switch has what looks like a round female socket for a plug of some type. Does someone have a photo of what the connection to the parking brake switch looks like? RA
Mooser- thanks. I'll have to dig around under the carpet and see if there is another wire. What's there looks like the three wires in your first photo. Do you know what they connect to? The PO of my car must have had wire cutters grafted to his right hand- most of the wiring to accessories has been cut. RA

The 3 wires on the connector are for one side of my power windows. The brake switch wire (biegh) on mine runs back under the shift console to the brake.

OK- I do not have power windows, so unless the wiring harness included the wires without anything to connect to, I'll have to trace them. I'm sitting here with the wiring diagram going cross-eyed. Hate electrical stuff on these cars. RA
My schematics for PW were on a seperate diagram than the regular wire harness.
Not common for GM to run extra wires that were not used. Maybe the harness was swapped out?
Here's the routing mine had, again for a 72. The taped bundle is for the windows, splits to both sides before the e-brake console.
The beige wire ran by itself to the switch
