Muffler shop in Missouri???
I'm in St. Louis and I'm stepping up to 2.5" and need someone to install my headders and either chambered exhaust or custom bend something to fit to a set of Flow's 40's depending on which way I go.
Any recomendations as to who to go to??

There's a local shop in O'Fallon, on the West side of Hwy M, North of I-70. Don't recall the name but they did a cat back system with Flowmaster 40s on my neighbor's '80 Formula Firebird. Good work - they asked how he wanted the mufflers positioned, etc.
I thought they were really pricey though. It may just be me however.

there's a guy in dyersburg , tn (missouri / tn boarder) thats worked on corvettes for twenty years at the master muffler shop , bent my 2.5 last month, did a great job hiding those dynomax ultraflows

I am capable of doing the work, except I would only be able to
create the exhuast from madrel bent pieces and weld them
together. The end result would be a lot better than a guess
and bend system and could be made to incorperate dual cats if
needed. I only work on weekends and we can probably work
out a pretty good deal. If your interested, let me konw, I located
in north county, St. Louis.

I'm going to take you up on that offer, not only would it be cool to have a Vette person do my exhaust, its extra cool to have a cf member do it! :cool: :cheers:
My shop is on Jefferson and hwy44 so we'll set something up and I'll use one of the trucks to trailer her out to ya... I doubt I'd make a copless run from south city to north county on open headers :D
I'll let you know as we get closer to exhaust time. We should be firing the motor this weekend!
