Which ones? What do you like/dislike about them? I want to subscribe to one or more that has good tech articles and feature cars. Is there one out there with mostly c3s?
Re: What corvette magazines do you get/read? (Brettmc)
I get Vette and Corvette Magazine. Vette is decent. They seem to have more articles that I'm not interested in reading than Corvette Magazine, but Corvette Magazine has only been out for 1 issue. It seems like vette either has an issue that is really top notch to me, or the whole thing is just not really my thing. Still an interesting read. I won't really know more about the other one until I get a couple more issues.

I bought that one off the newsstand this past weekend. I really enjoyed the article on the 71 LS6. Also good tech article on the electrical system. However, it seemed there were too many historical type articles. Does Vette mag have these too?
Re: What corvette magazines do you get/read? (Brettmc)
I get; Vette/Corvette Fever - basic articles on various cars around the country and some technical articles....good info and good split up between the c1thru c5 generations
Cars and Parts Corvette - in my opinion, the best mag out there with in-depth articles about various cars and lots of info on auctions, etc, etc. I really like reading the articles about various meets/auctions and they give the prices that things/cars went for or were asking

I get vette and I really like it ! Has a lot on c3's and it has a articles on different kinds of repairs too ! But mostly it's not over wrote if you know what I mean ! :seeya
Re: What corvette magazines do you get/read? (Dalannex)
I get 'Vette' and agree with Dalannex, that sometimes it's OK, but other times, not much I'm interested in at all...........There was a C3 vette magazine, but believe it wasn't successful and closed shop.
I also get Chevy High Performance, and really like many of their tech type articles, even though they feature only a few corvettes.

I have gotten Corvette Fever for a few years now. It's decent, I like it. I got Vette for awhile, but recently canceled it. I now ordered Corvette Magazine. And like what was said above, they are pretty new. Their second issue just came out in the past week. But from what I can tell, it's great, but they only send 6 issues/yearly. Good prototype articles (like article & pics of a GM designed 63 coupe with a back seat) :yesnod:
Re: What corvette magazines do you get/read? (Brettmc)
I like Corvette Fever & Vette, but as i am mainly interested in c3 they are sometimes o/t....i read Chevy Hiperformance and Super Chevy for the brilliant tech articles and comparos......john :chevy
Re: What corvette magazines do you get/read? (Brettmc)
I get Vette magazine monthly, quality rises and falls depending on the editor in chief at the time, but, I absoultely get a hoot out of some of the Corvette Fever letters (sometimes I laugh harder at the answers from the "experts" than I do at some of the lame questions).
Re: What corvette magazines do you get/read? (Brettmc)
Corvette Fever and GM High-Tech Performance
I used to love Motor Trend, but was sick of reading of SUV's, and it seems they 'love' every new car they drive, which suggests they are either bribed or don't have the ***** to write a negative feature when req'd.
Re: What corvette magazines do you get/read? (Brettmc)
G'day,
I have subscribed to Corvette Fever for several years (about 8) and for the last two or three years to Vette and Corvette Quarterly. Here in Australia, there is nothing local, so I rely on the U.S. magazines and read them cover to cover. Tell me where to contact this new magazine, please.

Corvettemag@driversdoor.com is the address of the new magazine. Shoot them an email they should give you the info.
Right after I got done replying about Corvette magazines yesterday I got my second issue of Corvette Magazine. It is another good one to read. If you are into Corvette racing they cover past and present Corvette racing, there is an article on the Avelate Corvette, (another retro 53 c5 thing) an article on some old Corvette prototypes, plus the usual tech tips section and other usual stuff. I was looking through it at work last night and thinking about how I would rate it for you guys. I like the feel of the magazine. It is high quality. Nice thick, glossy pages, lots of pictures that are top quality, pages are bound, not stapled. (don't ask me what kind of wierdo takes the time to judge magazine construction quality :D) I am very impressed with their tech tips section. They go over real life problems, with detailed explanations on how to fix them, and they do some tech tips for all generations. They also have a nice variety of article topics. Technical, racing, prototypes, corvettes, people. Overall I am impressed. I do wonder how long the magazine can be this good before the editors get the "we've written about everything we can think about, now what do we do" syndrome. I hope not ever, but if I was doing it I think after awhile I would start to run out of things that I haven't covered to do an article on.
