transgo shift kit spring help
I know this topic has probably been worn out. But im going to install a transgo shift kit in my 81 later today and im wondering what spring (red or orange)most people put in when installing it.its not a daily driver just like to get around town some days. if the street and strip is fine thats what ill go with i just dont want to be disappointed if after all that work i cant tell much difference. yalls insights are greatly appreciated

Thanks for the help now I have another question. I am at the tail end of doing this and I have two plates that came with the kit. Does a gasket supposed to go in between them if not I was stopped it from spraying out on the inside of transmission? Also it says that after I cut the gasket around the lock of body to disregard the rest of it is they're not supposed to be a gasket in between the body and the new plates? The instructions on this are the most ridiculous thing of ever seen
