How easy should the throw-out bearing slide on and off the clutch fork? The throw-out bearing slips right on and off mine. Initially I thought the tips of my retainer springs were worn, but I googled pictures, some spring were flat and others had pointed spring tips. See pic of mine.

The throwout bearing isn't a tight fit at all. Just slides on and off.
It slides right on, but if I'm not careful which way I orient the bellhousing, the throw-out bearing will slide off the clutch fork. Should it be that loose?

The end of your fork is bent. You need to straighten it or replace it.

I saw that one, but I was a concerned about the review. With the speed of Summit's shipping it will be to my house before Friday so I can set engine in car over the weekend. I may give it a try. Thanks
You made the right choice, replacing the arm will give you piece of mind until your kids inherit the car from you. Just match them up before installing to be sure you have the right arm. Yours might have a slight bend and that does happen from years of use with a heavy pressure plate springs. Good luck.
