Default 79 Tilt Steering Part Identification Needed

Hello, I am fixing the loose steering column issue by removing the steering column mechanism. I successfully was able to tighten and apply lock-tite on the four bolts. As I am getting close to putting everything back together, I have a left over part-- a spring looking piece.
I have the tilt and telescopic steering column.

Any help with pics in identifying the spring piece will be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks... Sam

It goes under the rack. The rack is the aluminum part with all the teeth that connects the plastic gear from the tumbler to the ignition switch rod. The side with the shiny marks is the top side.

Mike Many Thanks. I was able to install the spring/clip are per your instructions. I would have never found this.
