Cruise'n problems
why would the cruise control on my 80 be stuck on mach 1??? when i ever hit the cruise control the car just takes off and does not slow down. what could be the problem?

About two years ago, I replaced the transducer and actuator (the AIM calls them the regulator and servo, respectively) and the CC stayed right on the mark.
Well, my CC is behaving similar to yours now and all I can think is either a vacuum leak (I didn't replace the vacuum lines), an electrical problem, or the transducer/regulator again. I'm leaning toward the transducer myself.
Maybe someone else can shed some light on the problem.
