Default LED Headlights

LED headlights are a relitively new piece on the market over the last couple years, as such I am not up to speed with them. I want to replace both low and high beams with them. My question is, does anyone know if the bi-LED bulb would be used as the low beam and the plain LED bulb would be used in the high beam position, or would you use both bi-LED bulbs in both positions?

I have not seen these. Are they a direct replacement?

The OEM bulbs were dual element on the low beam and single element on the high beam. So I would figure it would be the same with LEDs.

Ok, so dual element on the low would be a Bi-led, and the single on the high would be the straight up led. That's how I'll attack it. Thanks.

They ought to be. Let me spend $400 and find out first .

If they fit, and have lower amp drain, they might eliminate the need for extra relays (to assure full brightness).

The site claims the bi-LED @ 3.00 Amp @ 12v.
an H5001 rates @ 3.90 Amp @ 12v.

Should be slightly less amps. 3.6 less amps all together.

Just ordered 2 bi-LED and 2 straight LED. We will find out the results on Weds.

Based on the power draw they should be significantly brighter than the OEM bulbs.

Perhaps a comparison (change 1 side only) up against the garage door, or down your drive way. Just to see if there is a big difference from stock.

Ok.

I'll also try to get a shot of amp draw too.

I currently have the front nose off and the head light buckets out this is very timely for me. I am going to have to replace all 4 headlights. Looking forward to seeing how you like this and was it a direct plug and play? I don't want to have to rewire anything. Just plug in the new lights and move on.
