LS Swap trans/crossmember problem
So I'm doing an LS swap.
I ordered motor mounts that should put the LS in the original sbc resting place (1" back for LSX).
When I put the motor in, the trans wasn't lined up with the engine... about 1/2" back. We got under, and after unbolting the trans mount, wiggled it forward to mate up to the engine.
What do I need to do/has anyone else run into this?
This is what it looks like now:

Trans mount appears about 1/2 - 1 inch forward of where it should be, so right now the weight of the trans is laying it on the crossmember, and the yoke has slid out of the rear of the trans a little.
Trans is TH400, and I have a 5.3 LS in it now.
