Hi all. My turn signals stopped working, installed new flasher, nothing. I see there is an orange box, part # 463498, with a white wire in the same harness. The circuit bd is fried. But when I look it up online, part # says it is a Coutesy Lamp Timer Circuit Board. Could this affect turn signals?
Thanks for your input, Mike
ok definitely sounds like wiring, do turn signal bulbs interior/exterior come on when you turn on the hazzards? if its like my 77 there is a different relay used for hazzard as compared to turn signal flashing.
im pretty sure you can bypass courtesy lamp timer as well as a test, with 12v source
as far as i know the courtesy timer was only meant to turn of interior lights if door is left open for a long time to save battery

Did you check the fuse? Do you have power at the flasher and past the flasher at the turn signal connector.
Have you checked to see if possibly the turn signal switch harmonica connector is loose?
If the connector is good then probe the input power wire to the turn signal switch. The image below is a earlier year but I've pasted a tracer harness schematic below (with the delay lamp circuit traced) so you can follow the wire to the turn signal connector and on.
If your right turn indicator lights up when turning your lights on, I would also be looking at grounds for your pigtails.
He may have multiple issues... I missed the rh lighting up in his second post..
It's easy to go to the turn signal switch connector and see if the power is going in and out of the switch properly.. That would eliminate a lot of other area's.
To check the switch when turning right you should have continuity between H and F and when turning left you would have continuity between H and G.
Other test would be to pull the bulb and probe the rear lamp and/or the front parking lamp extensions. The connector where the parking lamp extension plugs in has been problematic since day one. So pull those connectors loose, clean them try again. Test the main parking lamp connector for power and ground while you in there too.
