Default Lost looking at wheels

I am getting the urge to change out my stock 15x8 wheels and install some 18 and new rubber. I am leaning towards Michelin tires but I am open to suggestions. I see some are using Nitto.
My confusion is offset and width. and tire size.
I have offset rear arms but I don't think this is a concern in the 18 wheel size. My suspension is upgraded to a full VBP dual mount front tubular upper and lower arms and dual mount rear kit. All with QA1 shocks. I would like to keep close to stock tire height.
Thanks in advance for your help.

I have 255/45ZR18 Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tires at all 4 corners on 18x8 wheels. They are perfect for cruising and an occasional autocross. They are on the soft side (UTQG: 220 AA A), perfect for autocross in the SCCA CAM class (min. UTQG 200). They are an excellent tire for the money IMO ($155 or so per tire plus mounting, etc.).

I got a set of BOSS 338's at a low price I couldn't pass up at the time, but they have a 4.5" backspace compared to the 4.0" of stock wheels. I use hub centric spacers and longer wheel lugs to make up the difference. You could avoid the backspace issue with a set of Coys or some other 8" wheels with a 4.0" backspace.

I see those tires are the same height as the originals. It looks good in my opinion. But I am thinking of maybe a 9.0 or 10.0 wide wheel in the back and an 8.0 up front.
