Default Does anybody from Texas remember this 69 big block?

I ran across this car about 15 years or better ago and I don't think it'd been here long from Tx. There are some perculiarities that I've always been curios about. When I first saw it, it was painted a dark burgundy color and had the wrong hood, a later style eliminating the wiper door. The car was originally dark green with tan leather. Here's the odd part: The console plate showed 427/400, but it had some 435 or L88 only stuff. It had the high RPM redline on the tach, the high shift point turbo 400 transmission with 6 bolt converter (with the car's serial number on it) and HD 3.36 rear, neither of which were available on less than 435. It also had T I. (which of course was available on lower hp's, but mandatory on the high hp stuff) The car was fairly loaded option wise, with speed warning speedo, leather, and tilt/tele. I believe it had F41 also, but can't remember for sure, and if it ever had J56 brakes, there were no signs, although the calipers had been changed. There were a couple of odd holes in the radiator core support and also in the rear compartment which I've never been able to figure a reason for and never saw on another car. They're about 1 or 1 1/2" diameter and neatly drilled and spaced in both places. The car had a replacement gas tank with a dealer's name in Arkansas, so there was no build sheet. I was told that the car was on a used car lot in Tx and the original motor was there also, and the heads and intake were silver. He didn't remember the configuration of the intake and said there was no carb or carbs. The 400 HP console plate always threw me a curve on top of the high horse stuff. The holes in the core support and rear were so neat they looked factory, but far as I know couldn't be.

It was stripped to bare glass years ago and it's never been damaged.

Anybody got any recollections of this car??????
