T-Top Trim Removal
How is the stainless steel trim around the t-tops secured to t-tops? I want to remove the trim, but I don't want to break the rivets or whatever is holding it on.
Has anyone done this and can offer advice?

This is a hard choice to make .to get the trim off you must drill the rivets out but then the remainder of the rivet goes inside the panel never to be seen again.they will make noise taking them off and putting them on the car but not while you are driving.

:lol: So, that's what that noise is? I believe my T-Top trim must have been removed before.
Are there any other ways to get the trim off?

No, not that I know of.Something else you could try is jiggling all of the rivets into one corner of the panel and squeezing glue into a hole to get them from stop rattling.

I took mine apart then drilled a 1/2 hole in the hollow corner to remove pop rivet pieces then put in a plastic plug. Not visable with interior pannel in place.Glenn :seeya
