Alternator OEM coding question.

My 70 currently has alternator 1100542 coded 3B15 (1973 Feb 15 I believe) 63 amp. Was this an alternator used in the 1973 corvette? It is a 3 wire system + ground but the 1970 connector (2 wires) does not fit. Previous owner just adapted with individual home depot connectors on each wire plugging directly into the alternator. Just trying to determine what car this must have come from.

My car is original matching numbers. The 1100900 41 amp or 1100884 61 (LT1) amp were the correct Alternators for 1970.

Any input would be appreciated.

The Black Book lists 1100544, 1100950, or 1102353 for the 1973 model year.

Thanks guys. I feared that that might be the case. Well...... time to look for a replacement alternator.
