Default Trailing arm bushes

My 1970 was squirming around, traced it to trailing arm bushes. I can move one arm left to right a quarter of an inch.

About ten years ago I pulled out the original rubber bushes (which were still ok) and put in the latest and greatest product since sliced bread, black poly bushes from Zip. Well they have crumbled to dust.

I live in the tropics, every day is in the 90's what do vette owners from the hot states use. Should I go back to rubber or are there some better poly bushes now?

Rarely used street use only car with 533, TKO, looking for something that will last.

I heard that poly bushings do crumble over time. I stuck with regular old rubber. No problems for 5 years so far.

This is again, another reason I won't install poly in my shop....

Go back with Rubber...

Poly to me replaces a part that was designed to have give with something that is rigid and will not flex... Unless you are racing the car around cones stick with the stock suspension.

IMHO,
