I have a 72 4 speed . im installing the new backup switch. does the rod go in the long arm single hole or short arm with two holes. one hole is very small. this switch came with no instructions and I don't trust what the po did . thanks peter

I rotated mine until the switch connected and the lights came on with the car in reverse and used the hole that lined up. FYI I have an early 68 and accurate info from the AIM is hard to come by. Did you check your AIM?
