what are the odds.....it worked
when I bought my '81 a couple of months back it had a wicked power steering leak. had to refill completely about every 3 days. i was in the process of waiting for my next paycheck to get it fixed when i saw some stop leak in pep boys. i figured what the heck, can't hurt..... i've refilled once since then and the stick still reads full. of course it may go in the future but for now it's working. i guess murphey's laws can be bent! (i'll probably blow my engine tomorrow now that i've opened my big mouth) :D

Those stop leak chemicals for any system wit oil in it....all they do is soften the seals, the rubber swells from a chemical attack....it stops the leaking for a while, but overall, you need do it right, and soon....
