Default New York Guys..HELP!!!

I purchased a 72 in NY a few weeks ago and need to replace the gas tank, but am having trouble ID'ing my car. It's a 350ci but not the original motor. The plate on the shift console says it was a big block at one time. Previous owner doesn't know. Can anyone in NY run the Vin??? It's a registration receipt....a valid title in NY. Here is all the info
PAS

2DSD RD NY27654
003415 G 8 BTO30525
One more question....does anyone know the specific differences between the big block and small block gas tanks????? Thank you so much...
Eddie

I think the gas tank was the same for all models in 72. Why not give ZIP a call and see what they say.

I just might do that. I found a new American made repro tank for considerable savings and the seller wants to know the enginbe and HP. If it was originaly a big block car...I would want to have the correct tank for future considerations. Thanks for the info

I think SB & BB used the same tank - with the exception of the LT1.

I replaced my tank last year ( '72 BB ) and do not remember ever being asked engine size.

btw - let me know if you want some help - "been there, done that" kinda thing ...
