V.I.N. search ??
Is there a search you can perform to discover your vehicles "roots". Surely there is a site that translates VIN #'s into greater detail. Anyone have this info ... a link??

Michael, check out this post for info on how to get a build sheet for your Vette, which I assume was originally delivered to a dealership in Canada, from GM Canada (if it wasn't, this info is not available for U.S.-delivered C3s):

As far as determining other info, those of us with Ontario-registered cars can find out who the previous owners were by paying the $25 it costs to get the Used Vehicle Info Package from the Ministry of Transportation. Probably not worth it for you, though, since you know the previous 2 owners!
