Had to do it
Well I couldn't wait any longer. I took the Vette out for a 6 mile drive tonight, no license, no insurance, and no t-tops, man was it good to finally drive it. I've waited almost 2 years to take my first ride in her and it was worth the wait. I waited until 1:00 am, fired her up and off we went. I have her up for sale :cry because of this stupid economy :mad but I couldn't stand the thought of maybe getting a buyer and me never getting to take her for a ride, guess I took care of that little problem :D :D :D

Ill bet it felt great.Im still waiting for that day .My personal corvette has been a slow work in progress for a little over 3 years .I havent driven it at all. It was a project when i bought it.

I hear ya I've had mine for about 2 years and I'm getting anxious. I've only driven it from garage to shop to trailer etc. I'm getting closer and closer though.

I bet it felt great, In october it will have been two years since I drove my 75 but all that is about to change, I should be done in the next two months as long as my overtime at work stays with me.
