Well, today was the real test. A 2 hour drive and NO temp gauge problems!
So I guess it was the water pump all the time!
The cool part is that I was able to get a new infrared tester, water pump, fan clutch, ground wires, radiator cap, and 2 new thermostats out of the deal!
