I have a 1970 LS5 and was wondering the original shape of the carburetor gasket between it and the manifold. Pictures would be great and where to get it would be great as well, thanks.
I guess I should have given a little more detail. I had a problem with the idle and it turned out the wrong size base gasket was installed allowing it to leak air. I replaced it with a thick gasket of the correct size and that fixed the idle problem but now I have an off idle lag. I checked the float level and it is fine. Should the gasket have 4 separate holes or one large one? Based on the intake it should have a 4 hole version. Also there is an opening by the primaries, should that be covered by the gasket or exposed?
