The line that feeds my back brakes has developed a nice hole after a couple of years of rubbing against a bolt. Do I have to lift the body to replace this line or can I do it without and feeding it up around the frame?
You should be able to weasle it in there if you jack(stand) the car WAY up and
don't be afraid to bend the line slightly to get it through the back corner.
Just barely did mine and is was a pain, but it will work Just like the above post says don't be afraid to bend the lines a little to get them through tight spots. I was afraid to bend them....but then you get to the pissed of stage and you make them fit!
I recently did all mine, It is possible to do with body on however the higher you can set the car up off the floor the better. The line you need to replace was hardest because of the tight bends in th back.
This may be obvious but let me say it anyway. Tape the plastic caps very securely on the ends because you are gona wind up poking and twisting that line into a lot of dirty places trying to string it thru and you sure don't want to contaminate the inside of your brack system. :smash:
