I don't use that....it's going in your waterchannels too, don't like that idea.(I use it on other cars, but not on the Vette)
But I just removed the radiator, and there is a small hole left under,in the side.It was rubbing against another part, maybe for the last 20 years, judging by the looks.
So tommorrow it gets repaired, and I will be driving again in the evening. :yesnod: :D
Good time to install the new hoses I have, and to clean the system, and fill it with anti freeze.
And I think it was the first time in many years the system got flushed, the water/glycol what came out looked like pure rust.....
Good thing I was at my parents property to do the job, otherwise the neighboors here would have doomed me again......another nice stain on the street.....
They are already sure i'm a little  for driving cars like this, lol!
GM puts the pellets in every new car that comes out the plant door. it will not plug anything as it only hardened on contact with air. it is a good safety feature as if you do put a hole in the rad while you are on the road you will not lose your coolant. i use it in all my dirt bikes and quads to prevent being stuck out in the booneys with a leaking rad. :chevy
