Default 1969 T-Top Big Block

I have a 1969 T-Top car. When I pulled off the chrome cover that fits over the t-top frame and the t-tops fit on , there was some type of putty underneath it so I want to know what kind of putty that is and where do I get some.

It's just standard old body putty... but you can use strip caulk to replace it, or just about any other water proof putty you can find. I carry and sell it but you can buy a box of it at your local parts store under the part number 3M08578
