bbc valve covers
cleaning out the garage today and ran across a pair of my old valve covers for one of my bb of years past. i must have put a note attached to one of them that said start in 70 oil fill cap was push in and before was twist in. can't locate the history on these but i bet someone on this forum knows.seem to remember that the right ones were worth some cash but can't remember which ones. still have the drip rails in them.

Looks like an old set off a 68. They had a flash chrome coating that always pitted over time. My originals have pitting just not as bad as yours.

thanks for the reply.as i was cleaning some of my old stuff out i had forgot about these until i saw the note i had fastened to one of them.just fun to see some of this old stuff
