1973 Stingray, 350 4 speed.
After the successful break in of the cam I am now ready to install the engine back in the car. Both engine and transmission will be installed together.
What needs to be removed from the engine to make install the easiest.
Can the fuel pump stay on?
Any advice to make this go smoothly? I will be doing this more than likely myself.
I tried this once years ago and decided it was a lot easier to install the transmission after the engine is in the chassis. I know it can be done both ways, but I prefer to do them separately, especially with a manual trans, since the trans is pretty light.
You really should have an extra set of hands ! I like to do them with the trans already on, not normally with the fuel pump on, they break easy ! Good luck and be careful of your fingers.
