Re: Solution for coil problem-Built a bracket. (Aaron-74)
I'm going to have to drill a steel plate to go inside the whiper area againts the fire wall for the bolts to press againts. I don't think with the things added leverage and weight, I don't think thing fiberglass will hold.

Your welcome. It's good that you changed the mounting of the coil- thanks to the forum.
I did see a picture of a MSD coil in Hot Rod (I just got the issue on 09/05 so it is probably the Nov. issue) that was mounted horizontally like you had yours......
Re: Solution for coil problem-Built a bracket. (Fevre)
I never had a stock bracket. When I bought the car it has an Accel Super coil already mounted on the fire wall. When I got my new motor running it burned out somehow. So, I bought the Blaster and couldn't find the stock brackets anywhere...no I'm where I'm at now. :yesnod:

Yeah, I'd really like to have a clean engine bay. I HATE having wires and crap cluttered all over the engine bay. I wish I had the time and money to hide everything in the firewall and glass my firewall to be smooth.
