Default C3 on the road

Hello!

I am thinking of buying a 1976 C3 that has been renovated for about 10k (new Engine, new suspention etc.)

One buyer that had been testdriving the car said that it felt att Little
"wobbly" on the road??

But then again I have Heard the there C3:s were all a litte "wobbly" compered to newer cars??

I this something you just have to get used to?

That "Wobbly" could be that the back tires are out of camber alignment.

Have you driven the car? Does it feel "wobbly" to you?

No, I have not seen or driven the car, it´s located about 300 miles from where I live.

I wouldn't buy a car I hadn't inspected or had someone I know look at it. Wobbly could be anything .it may be a strut brace would cure woobly, you just can't know.

Not sure exactly what you mean by 'wobbly', but C3 Corvettes that are in decent condition are very stable. Not as stable as a new Corvette, for sure, but 'wobbly'? I don't think so. something is wrong with that car. Might not be serious. I had a bad strut rod bushing on one of my cars years ago that definitely made the car's directional control a little uncertain, but that was about a pretty cheap fix. Well, at least until I got into 'while I'm at it' mode.
