HEADLIGHT VACUUM TROUBLES
I just wanted to thank A&W for his site at http://www.corvette-101.com/ which helped me diagnose my defective parts. This site is great and pin- pointed the problems which unfortunetly was all the most expensive parts :mad but you have to do what you have to do. I just ordered;

2 HEADLIGHT ACTUATOR RELAYS 601-467 $49.95 A PIECE
1 METAL CHECK VALVE 601-473 $24.99
This should bring my headlight system to full operation. Right now I have to turn on the headlight switch then pull the maintenance switch under the dash to get the lights to come up. I had hoped the headlight switch was inop but after testing the actuators and relays with my vac guage they all failed :rolleyes: all tests were done with components removed from the car and I feel strongly they are bad. Too bad it cost me $345.99 to do this but :p: at least it will work like brand new when completed.
BY THE WAY THIS IS THE LAST ORDER FOR THE VETTE!! 3 YEARS AND 23K LATER SHE'S FINALLY DONE!!! (My parts ordered list is 4 pages long) :cheers: :cheers: :cheers:
