Driving around today, enjoying the new engine. All of a sudden I hit the breaks and she pulls hard to the right. No noise, steering seems to be fine, breaks seem to be grabbing, stopping power is good, no vibrations. Upon application of breaks the wheel turns right. Before, no problems, could take hands off wheel and break, would go straight as an arrow?
Have noticed car seems to turn right easier??? When going over a bump like a train tracks, seems to go right as well. What is this?
The flexible brake lines that run from the stainless main lines to the calipre are rubber and wear out. When they wear out, they lose their rigidity and expand and contract under pressure, causing the calipre on that side not to squeeze as hard as the other side. Thus, the car will pull to the side that has the good hose. Very common problem and an easy fix. Hoses are inexpensive ($20-30) and can be done at home if you know how to bleed the lines etc.
Warning: at least it did it on mine, if you drive it much longer, the fluid will not drain from the calipre either causing the calipre to remain "squeezed" on the rotor and will strand you some where as the brakes will not release.

Check the upper and lower control arm bushings, particularly the right side. With age the bushings dry out and can fall apart, letting the control arm move back and forth causing a pull.
I had the same thing happen to me going home from Burger King Tuesday night.Mine started pulling hard left and then it was ok until next time I had to brake. So it could be the rubber brake hose?
