[QUOTE=cuisinartvette;1592338166]What kind is it?

OP
I am near NASCAR hub, Charlotte NC and there is a guy who is an old NASCAR carb man who now works out of his own shop. He does Quad, Holley, old Rochester and Ford carbs. I had him do a Holley for me and my car has never run as it does now and a Quad for 69 L46 car. He has flow bench and complete machine shop to do what is necessary and is knowledgeable. He can do refinish to new for restoration along with making them operate as they should. If interested I will send contact info...PM me.

1970 quadrajet and I am sure it is not original but I am getting backfires in the exhaust when deaccelerating and popping noises when down shifting...I think it may be running too rich and I do not have the knowledge to fool with it.....also I have seen way too many pix of engine fires in corvettes...looking for good service and good price with a quick turn around

thanks

google Bob Jennings Dyno
Hes getting up there in age doing it from home now
That man could perfect any Qjet or stone age Holley with his eyes closed uses a lot of his own parts and makes them work right rather than buying something new/generic. Incredibly talented guy, has some sun machines for that perfect dist curve too. No bs guy.

Back in the 80s and 90s there would literally be a line of guys ALL the way down the street lined up trying to get an appt. Now...everythings efi poor guys a dinosaur. He was big into the racing scene around the Joe Sherman/Lambeck/Muldowney era
Man I wish I knew what he did.
