High rise hood idea..
I`m going to put a piece of Alu sheetmetal on the underside of the hood and cut a hole in it for the airfilter.I think this would help the engine to get more cool air down the intake instead of the really hot air that exists under the hood..
Any ideas on this..Pros and cons? :smash: :smash: :cheers:

Yup. That's a standard way of doing it. You can even find those peices of sheet metal pre-cut and shaped from places like Summit and Jegs.
The aluminum might transfer some of the heat, so you might want to think of ways to insulate it. :cheers:

I think someone makes a fiberglass kit especially for that purpose. Ecklers sells it I think.
Cooler air= more power.
