Default Vbp 330 leaf spring

Looking to put a 330 spring on my 1976 Corvette just wondering what the ride height would be afterwards

Get 8" bolts with it and you can adjust the ride height fairly substantially.....even more with 10" but I wont run then due to clearance issues and have no need anyhoo!

I agree with Mr octaves, buy the extended bolt and adjust, but remember that if your body mounts are shot it will take alot of adjusting. Furthermore while your at it and in there, by a set if bilstien front and rear to really make your vette feel like a vette, bilstein sports or one of the many other good shocks out there that I've no experience with and can't morely suggest. Good luck.

Just put a 330 spring on my '81. I'm using 10 inch bolts. The ride height came out perfect.

I had the 330 spring in my 76 with the recommended VBP bolt kit. The car sat great with the setting that VBP recommended. I believe it was 1.5 threads showing. It was better than the high arch spring the PO installed in my turd but after driving it for a while it felt soft I found a dual mount adjustable and swapped it out. I still have it sitting on the shelf waiting for a future project. Make sure you use a good shock though like Bilstein or QA1. they did not have the Bilstein at the time so gave me a smoking deal on the QA1 I currently use

Only the 81/82's with base suspension had a composite rear spring and only rated at 198lbs which is very different from a replacement composite of 330lbs. 81/82's with gymkhana suspension had a steel rear spring rated at 292lbs.
