Calling Bence.... Which Fuel pump?????
Bence (and other BB swappers),
Which fuel pump did you go with and how did you plumb in the return line if you used an aftermarket pump???

I'm running a Holley mechanical fuel pump. I just blocked off the return line. With the 3/8" fuel line it seems to give the motor plenty of gas. I know because the Holley 850 sure can dump it down quick.
So how are things coming along for you? :)

Twin Holley blue pumps, twin 3/8 line. One for the motor and one for the Fogger.

Thanks guys for the help. I just wanted to make sure I could block off the return line to the tank.
I ordered the rest of the bolts I needed for the 454, so I wouldn't have to pirate them off the mouse motor 350. I should be starting the swap by the end of September...I can't wait to pull that mouse motor!!
I should also have my website on line as well...
Bence- Your '76 car must pull like a Raped Ape, huh??
With those 4.11's especially! Are you glad you swapped in such a low gear??

Yeah it pulls pretty hard :D. I'm really happy I switched to a lower gear...but I'm not happy that I currently don't have a tall enough tire to support it. I need to get a pair of 28x11.5x15 Mickey Thompsons to slow my RPMs down a little bit. It's almost as though I can't grab a gear quick enough. Sure is a lot of fun. Good luck with the big block, it will be well worth it.

My motor is built and just recieved my chrome hooker side mounts, now just waiting on my Demon 850. It has been backordered and will be here I'd assume next week. Need to order my Griffin radiator this week along with my Power steering and alternator brackets. Zip wants to seel me 10 brackets to bolt the up which I think is a lot for a non a/c car. :confused:
So all in all about a month she'll be fired up. If you have ANY questions with your swap let me know. :cheers:
