Exausted
I started having a what I thought was a exhaust leak about a month ago. Replaced gasket with Mr Gasket $30. Put through a heat cycle and reinstalled wires to stop bolts from backing out. Still had problem. Pulled all plugs, cleaned, removed indexing washers, reinstalled and everything looked fine...still leaking. Pulled valve covers and checked valves....still noise leak. Checked all exhaust but cannot find leak. Went for a drive on the weekend to a friend of mine and he suggested that possibley I had round cylinder heads and Mr Gasket only caries Square port. Took headers off again and problem solved. If you are changing exhaust gaskets check for type please and you can save yourself a headache. :cheers:

Thanks for the heads up on this one. I will check this afternoon. I have as yet to run my engine. Could be heading one off at the pass. :eek:
