Exterior lights gremlin
Hey, anyone out there good with tail lamp possible short?
I had no left rear, front right or plate lamps so I changed all of the bulbs. I have no idea what Bimbo before me did so I put in all new. As I had each bulb out I used a bit of 2,000 wet paper and electronics cleaner then tested each positive and ground on each socket. All lamps on Nice and bright. Blinkers nice except right dash which I pulled out A/C duct on drivers side, put my fingers up and there is no wire/socket connected. I felt the arrow hole. Once I started the car I checked lights again but with one problem. With lights on and left blinker with car running on I loose my rear left lamp. Right rear is on. When blinker is off left rear is on.

It's not a short. I'll assume you used a dual filament lamp.
Does the left rear lamp come on when braking and with the hazards?
If yes the I would suspect your turn signal switch. If no then possibly a brake in the wire somewhere.

I will have someone step on brake and I will check w hazards.

Just checked 4 way flasher. All of the lights are flashing at a different speed. When the left side flashes the right side no. When right side flashes, left side no. Looking at front or rear, it's left right left right, not at same time, in front too. Never looked at that before. What can be causing all of this?
